Try another cable and charger (eliminate the obvious first)

Clean lint from charging port gently – use a non-conductive tool like a wooden toothpick or plastic floss pick (never metal)

Restart your phone (software glitches can prevent charging)

Check for corrosion (white/green residue) – if present, stop using and have port professionally cleaned

If phone gets hot and won't charge, the charging circuit or battery may be failing – stop using and get it checked
